Is there a minimum purchase amount for coupons?

Coupons can be applied towards purchases of $25 or more.

Can I share my coupon with a friend?

When a coupon offer is sent to you via email, the associated discount is attached to your specific AppSumo account. This means you need to be sure you are logged in to see the coupon reflected at checkout, and you won’t be able to transfer the coupon to any other accounts (including any other AppSumo accounts you may own).

Can I use my coupon more than once?

Each coupon you receive is for a single use only, so be sure to add all your tools to the cart before completing checkout!

Can I use a coupon to upgrade an existing license?

Coupons can be applied to license upgrades at this time. However, coupons can be used to purchase new licenses.

Can I use my coupon during other site-wide promotions?

Coupons cannot be combined with site wide promotions such as Sumo Day, Spring Break, Black Friday, or Last Call, etc.

What if I refund a tool I purchased with a coupon?

Discount coupons are non-refundable. Should you need to return a tool that was purchased using a discount, you will be refunded back for the amount you paid in full, but will not be credited for the discounted amount. Since coupons are only available for one time use, the ability to use the coupon will not be restored when a refund occurs.

Can I save my coupon for your next sale?

Coupons are available for a limited time only and cannot be combined with other promotions. They are hard-coded and can’t be extended or re-issued once they expire, so be sure to use them before the listed date! You’ll usually see the expiration date as well as other terms of each coupon at the bottom of the email where it was sent as shown below:
