What is a license?

Licenses are our (newly-released) alternative to codes. Whoop Whoop! 

Licenses have a super smooth redemption experience and allow you to connect to our partner's site immediately upon activation.  (You're welcome.)  Unlike codes, licenses do not need to be stacked - which means you can upgrade/downgrade your tiered plan to your heart's content. 

Select products featured in the AppSumo marketplace are currently using licenses - you can identify that a product uses licenses either by the word "license" or plans "License Tier X" in the pricing table as shown below.  Pretty simple, right?
