What can I post in the questions section?
Our questions section is reserved for pre-sale based questions about the tool or the AppSumo offer. If you post in this section a review of the tool, feedback about the tool, or asking for customer support, it will be denied as this section is not intended for these kinds of posts.
Should you have feedback and are ready to post a review about the tool please do so in the reviews section. If you need customer support assistance, please email our Partners directly or reach out to our support team at support@appsumo.com and we can help facilitate support with the Partner.
Why am I seeing “Awaiting moderation”?
Please know that all of our deal page questions and reviews go through a moderation process, so when you submit a post on a deal page, it will always be in the “Awaiting moderation” status until it’s reviewed. We use an AI system called ModBot to approve or deny Questions & Reviews based on our Community Guidelines. All proposed denials are still reviewed by our team to ensure fairness and clarity.
My post was denied, now what?
We reserve the right to moderate all comments and posts. Please see our community guidelines here which will provide more insight on what kinds of posts qualify to be denied by our Community Moderation team.
If you believe your post was incorrectly denied, please reach out to our support team at support@appsumo.com. Keep in mind, should we confirm that your post was against our community guidelines, the denial will be final.
Unaware of our community guidelines before posting? Not to worry, even if your post was denied, you are always welcome to edit your review.
I want to edit or delete my review, what can I do?
Our system now allows you to edit and delete your reviews from within your AppSumo account!
If you would like to edit your review you can do so with the following steps:
- Locate your review on the tool’s deal page
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner of your review to open up the options menu
- Click the “Edit” button
- Edit your review
- Select “Submit review” in the bottom right corner
If you want to delete a review following these steps below:
- Locate your review on the tool’s deal page
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner of your review to open up the options menu
- Click the “Delete” button
- Confirm you would like to delete your review with the pop-up
Sumo tip: Once you delete a post it’s gone forever, so please copy any text you wanted to save before confirming you would like to delete your review.
